I had the brown tortoise style just like these and loved them. They lasted for about 5 years(!) before the side piece broke. Unfortunately, it's impossible to find them any longer in the brown, and nearly impossible to find the black as well. I see Amazon is now sold out of the black also. What I love about them is the size and fit. They're a little oversized but they look great. The lenses are not too dark, not too light and the gradient shading is perfect. They're durable. I had them for over 5 years and the only thing that happened was that there were little scuff marks on the inside of the lenses where the side pieces fold in and the tip rests against the lenses. No case can protect against this.
