Only complaint is that the dye on the leather is blotchy in some spots, but it's not very noticeable. Love the heel height; comfy enough to wear all day. Also has fairly good traction, for dressy boots. Wore them in a football stadium and had no problems. I purchased them from Dillards, as that is where I found the size and price I needed. The leather is thin. On the top of one boot (very top edge) it looks like the leather is melted. On the other boot, on the part that goes across the top of your foot, right where the leather goes from the shoe to the leg area...it looks like a logo is stamped into the leather. Very faint, but it does look like words of some sort. It is not supposed to be there...I think it must have been on the leather or something, and made it onto my shoe. So quality control is an issue.Additionally, they aren't that comfortable. They aren't painful, but I haven't worn them other than to try them on. There is not padding under the ball of the foot, and since these are a heel, your weight is on that area, so it would have been nice to have a "little" pad in there. Not sure what I am... Read more |
