After all, I'm not trying to draw attention. Just needed a stylish shoe that would go with khakis and would be comfortable to wear.Bingo. I had been a Steve Madden fan a few years back but didn't buy any of his shoes for a while because my work attire was so laid back. This shoe is nice. Comfortable fit, kind of slim though. I wear standard medium width shoes even though my foot is a little fatter than the average guy's. I can't say what extended wear would be like since I wouldn't wear it walking around for a long time, but in walk-sit-walk-sit scenarios, the support is fine. These seemed like a good compromise. A little pricey, workmanship not the greatest (some loose threads), but very comfortable and easy to put on and take off, just what I wanted. I took the advice of previous reviewers and got a half-size higher than my normal, and very glad I did.
